Cirrhosis is the final stage of chronic liver disease caused by fibrosis which decreases function and changes shape structure liver. Portal hypertension an essential pathophysiology cirrhosis, can lead to increased risk death in patients resulting very detrimental complications originating from portal obstruction blood flow, such as cirrhosis or blockage vessels. According EASL guidelines, non-selective β-blocker therapy propranolol reduce pressure reducing venous flow through two mechanisms: decreased cardiac output splanchnic flow. This study aimed determine pattern using with Sidoarjo Hospital. was observational a retrospective approach 1st January 2021 until 31st December 2021. The Patient Medication Records (PMR) data obtained 15 male (68%), most age ranging 56 65 years old (37%). single 22 (100%). highest use treatment Propranolol (3×10 mg) 12 (52%), (2x10 ten (43%), (2x40 only one patient (5%).
